30 % of our profit will be reinvest in our planet with the help of these projects. We need people who engaged to help our planet, either with engagement/ financialy in what project suit you best. Strong ecosystems are of utmost importance for a functioning society, since 55% of world GDP depends on them. Then it is extra frightening that 20% of the world's countries risk a collapse of their ecosystems. Scientists warn that we only have 10 years to reverse current developments with destroyed ecosystems, before several tipping points in the Earth's biosphere are reached with dire consequences for society. The right methods still have time to reverse the destructive trend, but we must act now. FrejaFoodForest can stand for 25000 € of the projects cost.
Wildlife corridors and carbon storage
We have already established a partnership with actors in Xishuangbanna, Dali, Dujiangyan, and Hunchun China to start wildlife corridors for protection of keystone species like Tiger, Elephant, Takin, and Panda. At the same time, increase the land's carbon storage abilities. To finish these project we need 100 000 €. For that, 25 hectares will be reforested with forest garden practice, and 100 tons of carbon will be sequestrated. It contribute to a sustainble development and it's a perfect way to be establish on the Chinese market since it both helps the community and protects animals valued in the Chinese culture.
Secure permafrost
In Pleistocene Park (northern Siberia), a scientist recreates the mammoth steppe to maintain permafrost and avoid massive greenhouse gas emissions. The permafrost is one of several climate systems that are approaching collapse and the mammoth steppe is one of the few methods that can ensure that the permafrost is kept intact. In addition to a safer climate, it will save several large mammals from extinction. Today, Bactrian camels are threatened with extinction, and with €100,000 we will transport the Baktian camel and musk ox to the Pleistocene Park to save the species and recreate the mammoth steppe ecosystem. More information about Pleistocene Park can be found at pleistocenepark.ru
Wild wonders of Europe
Rewilding Europe has a mission to bring back wildlife to the European continent and is shows remarkable progress. With ten large areas in Europe coming back to wilderness and increasing wildlife number, some who in the risk of being extinct. To enhance this success, we will focus on establishing our food forest in those areas to support local societies and the environment. For that, we need 50 000 € for each place, and with that, we can help families create 2 hectares forest garden.
